Welcome to Cub Scouts!
Parents of young children face many choices in after-school activities. Boys & Girls want to have fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. Since 1930 the scouting has been weaving lifetime values into fun and educational activities designed to assist parents in strengthening character, developing good citizenship, and enhancing physical fitness in our youth. If your child is about to enter kindergarten through fifth grade, Cub Scouting may be exactly what you are both looking for!

What do we do?
Pack 625 follows district and council recommendations to provide a wide variety of activities to maintain a fun learning environment for our scouts. As a sample, here are just some of the activities that we build into our routines as the scouts advance in ranks during our weekly meetings:
weekly den meetings with activities to teach scouts specific skills
monthly pack meetings to share our achievements
hiking, camping, and outdoor activities
community service projects
boat and car races
Each year, the Pack plans one summer "super trip". An example of these trips are items such as visiting the USS Yorktown (Operation Overnight) or Camping in Caves!
